Jaclyn Touchstone

Jaclyn Touchstone is a visual artist working in both Houston and Austin, Texas. Her series Memory Holes began in 2010 and is an ongoing project. Touchstone uses photography as a way to re-examine self-portraiture in an age where we so often use it in an effort to comfortably define ourselves. By placing herself in the most vulnerable of positions, her images often feel unsettling in a way that is both honest and captivating.
